This post will describe how to take the filament out of the printer head in case it gets stuck or if you just need to take it out
1. 1. Take out the cartridge by following the instructions listed here: How to Correctly Insert/Remove your Cartridges?
2. Take the Teflon Tube out of the printing head using these instructions: How to Remove/Reinsert the Teflon Tubes?
3. Open a web browser and go to the page [Zim URL]/extrusion_control
4. Under the temperature tab, set the temperature to 240 degrees Celsius.
5. Wait until the heating up process is complete. Under Filament, set the filament to extrude 150mm at 100mm/min while pushing the filament firmly down by hand. You should be able to see the filament come out of the extruder.
6. When done, reverse the filament 200 mm at 1500mm/min while pulling lightly on the filament until the filament is completely out.
7. Afterwards, turn off your zim by pushing the green power button for approximately 5 seconds and let it cool down for 30 minutes before using it again.
