NOTE : teflon is extremely slippery, we recommend using rubber gloves (used for dish washing for example) to handle them easily.

Warning

In order to properly re-install the teflon tubes in the printing head (top) or in the cartridge holder (bottom), you need to push the tube to the end of its course.

If the tubes are not installed correctly (as shown in the pictures below), the filament will not enter properly into the printing head or the cartridge holder and the teflon tube will then "pop out" every time.

I. To install or remove properly the Teflon tube in the printing head please follow the instructions below :

A. Remove Teflon tube from printing head :

Push teflon tube.

Remove it from the plastic part.

Push the black plastic part while pulling the teflon tube to remove it.

B. Insert Teflon tube in printing head :

Insert the Teflon tube in the printing head hole, pushing strongly to insert it as deeply as possible.(27.5mm)

Reinsert the Teflon tube in its lodging as shown below

II. To install or remove properly the Teflon tube in the cartridge holder please follow the instructions below :

A. Remove Teflon tube from cartridge holder  :

Unscrew the cartridge holder by removing the 4 screw indicated below.

Remove the teflon tube, pushing the black plastic part of the retainer while pulling the teflon tube.

B. Install Teflon tube in cartridge holder :

Insert the Teflon tube in retainer of the cartridge holder hole, pushing strongly to insert it as deeply as possible.(27mm)

Once it's done, check if the Teflon tube is installed properly.

Push some filament through the hole in the other side of the cartridge holder as shown below

If you feel the filament hit something when you're sliding the filament in, it means the Teflon tube isn't correctly installed.

You need to check the length of teflon tube which entered the cartridge holder and redo the procedure
